Have your say on plans to ‘get buses back better’

If residents and visitors have opinions on how to improve bus services, West Sussex County Council would like to hear from them.

A bus service improvement plan is being developed by the council together with bus companies and other partners to explore ways to help sustain and improve bus travel in West Sussex.

The initiative is in line with the Government’s new National Bus Strategy - Bus Back Better - which has pledged £3 billion in funding across the country (outside London) to help deliver these plans.

Joy Dennis, the County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said: “We really want to hear opinions on what would improve local bus services and what would make people use buses more. We are keen to hear from people of all ages who already use buses and those who do not.

“Your feedback will inform our approach to developing and improving local bus services for the future, so this is a great opportunity to have your say.”
