Why conduct a survey?
What is the Parish Council responsible for?
How is the Parish Council funded?
What will it cost?
In order for the Parish Council to continue to
deliver the services and facilities currently enjoyed by the community, or
maybe required in the future, it needs to ask residents to help by contributing
more in their council tax.
The council tax charge is
based on a calculation set by Central Government as a percentage of the Band D.
For example, properties in Band H are counted as 2 Band D’s.
The following table shows
the council tax you would have paid in 2023/24, according to your Tax Band, for
a 4.8% increase in the Precept i.e., each dwelling would have paid £10 or less extra over the course of the year.
