This is just to advise you that the Chichester District Council discretionary grant programme for 2025/2026 has gone live, and the scheme this year is enhanced with up to £360,000 available in total for local organisations. This is allowing groups to apply for Fast Track grants up to £2,000, and larger grants up to £25,000 - up to 50% of the total project costs. To confirm, Parish Councils are eligible to apply for these grants.

FYI - You may have seen media releases already regarding this scheme which are particularly encouraging projects supporting playground improvements, and I can confirm this is correct. However, we are aware that Parish Councils have lots of additional responsibilities, such as maintaining community buildings (village halls), and other assets, which could also be eligible for a grant under our priority ‘Improving Places and Spaces.’ As above, if you have any initial queries about whether a potential project would be eligible, then do let me know.
